Harjot Punni

Harjot graduated from Coventry University with First Class Honours in BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science in 2021. During this degree, Harjot completed a year-long placement at Coventry City Football Club Academy before completing her research project investigating the presence of the Relative Age Effect (RAE) within the academy. She was awarded the Steve Brooks Memorial Prize for the course’s highest award-graded dissertation. In 2022, Harjot graduated with a Distinction in MSc Physiology and Nutrition of Sport and Exercise at Loughborough University. 

Harjot is currently working as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at Loughborough University, assisting laboratory classes related to physiology and nutrition across undergraduate and postgraduate modules. She is also completing a part-time PhD, investigating the cardiovascular consequences of Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S) and oestrogen deficiency in amenorrhoeic athletes.
